There were 10 children. Rosena's parents - Conrad Knerse and Elizabeth VonBruhl. Both families were from Germany settled in Calhoun County, IL. Martin Luther Shelton's parents were Richard Shelton and Lucille Marshall. They had 16 children - 8 boys and 8 girls. Bertha was one of those children. If she was your great-grandmother she was my aunt and we are cousins. Iris Luther Shelton was my father and he had a twin sister Inez. Bertha was his sister.
