His name was William F. Shelton b. 11 Jan 1891 in Holden, MO (?) and adopted by the Boylan family after the death of his father when he was about 3. His father's name is unknown, but his mother may have been named Mary Jennings, born in either Missouri or Kentucky. He had three siblings- 1. Laura b. 1890 d. abt 1898 2. Delilah b. 1 Sep 1888 d. Aug 1974 in Albuquerque, NM. She was fostered by the Ross family of Nodaway, MO, and moved to Rio Grande, CO, where she married Charles Palmer Conant 3. Olin (or Olen) b. Jan 28, 1894 He was in the 1930 census living in Nodaway, MO, married to Vera (maiden name unknown) with a daughter, Marlene. If anyone can add to this information, please let me know.
