My father's name is James Edward Shelton born in 1946. His father is James Alva Shelton born around 11/08/1902 or 1903. James Alva had a brother named Harry and a sister Minnie. Minnie moved to California and Harry lived in Clarksville, Indiana. James Alva died when my father was very young ( 5yrs. old) from a heart attack. We believe James Alva's parents names were James (born New Washington, IN 8/8/1866) and Emma Shelton (born Michigan 2/14/1870).
