Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/wNHBAIB/2950.1 Message Board Post: A descendant of Coleman Shelton from Ohio has written to me to say that in 1820 Coleman Shelton had two daughters Chaney and Catherine who did not marry and were in the home in the 16-26 age group in 1820. In the 1850 census one was 47 years of age and the other, 49; therefore, this appears to be correct. The descendant did not know if Coleman had a daughter named Dolly, stating that Coleman and all his family moved to Todd County, KY, between 1830-1840. I was doing this research for a descendant of Dolly who gave me James Dalton as the father of Dolly's husband, Coleman. I have not checked on Coleman's family and I do not know if the note I included about Joseph Dalton refers to the family of Coleman Dalton.
