She was born Sept. 16, 1920, to the late Daniel and Emma Klein Cribbs in Danville, Pa. Theresa married Perry Shelton on Oct. 22, 1960, in Cannonsville. She was employed as a harness assembler at E.C.D. of Bendix, Sidney, for more than 40 years. Theresa was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sidney, and the Rosary Society at Sacred Heart Church. She was also a member of Local Union No. 1529, Sidney, and was a longtime member of the board of directors of the Sidney Federal Credit Union as a secretary and treasurer. Theresa is survived by her husband, Perry Shelton of Trout Creek; two stepdaughters, Barbara Finnerty of Deposit and Phyliss and her husband, Joseph Reynolds, of Trout Creek; two brothers and sister-in-law, John "Jack" Cribbs of Sidney and Thomas and Margo Cribbs of Riverside, Calif.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Helen and Lawrence Halbert of Sidney and Jean Eldridge of Johnson City; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two aunts; two uncles; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a son, Daniel Malochleb, on Sept. 4, 1994. Friends may call Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, after 2 p.m. and the family will be in attendance from 7 to 9 p.m. at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St., Sidney. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, Jan. 22, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Liberty Street, Sidney, with the Rev. Fr. Joseph Schuck, officiating at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Sidney in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Trout Creek Emergency Squad.
