That I got from the 1850 Federal Census of Franklin Co. I will keep an eye out for anything that I find on him and advise you. (Can you post what you have on Wade Shelton's immediate family? That will help in the search.) I looked up Samuel Wade Shelton and found that in the 1870 Census he is living right next door to Thomas Shelton and to Nathan Richardson(My GGrandfather). Nathan's wife, Elizabeth is Elizabeth Elmira Shelton. So they were all very tight. Samuel W. Shelton's wife is Elizabeth as is his daughter.
