John Chilton of Westmoreland (the one who came to claim his brother George's estate) is said to have built Currioman in Westmoreland, & purchased Corotoman in Lancaster.  Am I right so far?  For a time it was believed he was also the John Shelton who built Rural Plains.  Is this John the Builder?  What is the latest info here?  Was Rural Plains built by the same John who built Currioman & if not who is thought to be the parents of John Shelton of Rural Plains?  Thanks, Sheila

No. The John of Corotoman was a Chilton/ Shelton, proven by DNA testing. John the Builder is of the Rural Plains group. Totally different group. Beth Ann
