Nancy Elizabeth "Lizzie" Owens was born September 21, 1864 in Cedar County Missouri. She was married to Jefferson Davis Shelton from Vernon County , in 1883 in Cedar County, Missouri. Her family was living in Missouri at the time of their marriage. I am wondering if anyone out there knows who her mother and father Owens were and anything about them (births, marriage, deaths, burials & etc.). Lizzie died in Hopkins County, TX in October of 1899. The Owens took in three siblings of the family named Ford, after the death of their parents and raised them as their own children. They were Billy (J W), Sally and Jennie Ford. I believe that all of this took place in Missouri.
