Mason Memorial Funeral Home Inc.Youngstown, Ohio for Ronald Oscar Shelton, 71, formerly of Youngstown,(Mahoning County) Ohio who departed this life Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa. Mr. Shelton was born Dec. 29, 1937 in Camden, N.J., a son of Richard N. and Pearl M. Conway Shelton. He served in the U.S. Air Force for years, making it his career, and retired as a technical sergeant. He was a graduate of East High School and received his associate degree in applied science in computer engineering technology from the National Education Center in Tampa. He leaves his sister, Anne (Jesse) Rutland; three aunts, Lorene and Zelma Yancey and Alice Shelton, all of Youngstown; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Pearl M. Harris and Marva I. Shelton; and three brothers, Richard N. Jr., Clifford O. and Don A. Shelton.
