Joe, My Shaws came to Ontario, Canada in 1848. They wereWesleyan Methodists from County Sligo, Ireland. After her husband James Shaw died in 1848, Ann Jamieson Shaw and their 4 sons and daughters emigrated, first to Dufferin County and later, Matthew (my ggrandfather), brothers John and William and sister Margaret moved to Arthur TWP, Wellington County.
