Angeloah Shaw, my great great grandfather, was born in New York in about 1820. He married in Mary Delilah Sapney in Allegany County NY in 1842 and migratred west from Cattaraugus County NY in 1854. His parents are reportedly born in the United States. According to family records he was known with the nickname of "Angie". Angeloah died in 1918 in Nebraska and is buried in in NE. I have searched the various counties of NY and today I ran across a clue in Monroe County. According to a report on the USGenWeb site for Monroe County is a list of cemeteries with a number of Shaws and among them is an "Angie" If anyone could assist me with some information on this "Angie" Shaw in Monroe County NY I would greatly appreciate it.
