Hello all, This is my first posting to this list. I am Lorraine and I'm looking for any information I can find on my great-uncle Walter SHAW. Walter was born in Manchester, England in 1882, was aged 19 in the England 1901 census, and left the port of Liverpool to arrive at Ellis Island on 12th April 1912. He gave New York as his destination, but family history says he went to Canada. I was wondering whether anyone would be able to check US / Canadian censuses after 1912 for me to see where he went. If I am able to search for myself online, I would appreciate a nudge in the right direction! I subscribe to UK Ancestry and cannot access US and Canadian records.
