Hi yes I have subscribed to that list for a long time. My whole sid of the Shaws lived in Clearfield and some still do. I got alot of information years ago from Randall Kurtz. My Mom could never believe that all those Shaws that she went to school with were all related one way or another. Have you been to the town of Clearfield? And do you know about the Shaw cemetery there? Which line of Shaws are you from. Karen

My Shaws are from Loudon County, VA; to Frederick,MD; to York/Lancaster county, Pa. My parents were born in PA, I was born in Frederick, MD.but now live in York County, PA. Yes, I've been to Clearfield, Houtzdale, Kylertown, Shawsville, Phillipsburg and a few other places I don't remember in Clearfield County. At one time I considered moving up there. Some friends and I had a hunting camp up Rte 144 toward Renova, PA. I've fished several trout streams up there, but not lately.
