    1. STRANGERS IN THE BOX.....

    3. One more little story, poem actually, that says a lot about keeping good records and information on your family's history, especially when it comes to keeping photos. I have a lot of pictures of early family members with nothing written on the back to identify them. So they will remain in perpetual unknown limbo until I can connect with someone who might be able to tell something about them. Don't let your family's history become "Strangers in the Box..." I wish I knew the people These strangers in the box; Their names and all their memories Are lost among my socks. I wonder what their lives were like; How did they spend their days? About their special times and lives I'll never know their ways. If only someone had taken time To tell who, what, or when; These faces of my heritage Would come to life again. Could this become the fate Of pictures we take today? The faces and memories Someday to be passed away? Make time to save your stories, Seize the opportunity when it knocks, Or someday you and yours could be... The strangers in the box. --Author Unknown
