    3. Hi Peggie; My great grandfather was Greenbury W. Shaw and lived in Baltimore in the mid 1800's. I'm having trouble finding his father. You don't have him in your records do you? Thanks Jim Shaw -----Original Message----- From: PEGGIE SHAW [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, May 12, 2005 4:58 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [SHAW] John SHAW. 1815-1850. Hello Viola: I have two John H. Shaws, one being my father now deceased b. 1936 in New Jersey. The other his father b. bet. 1910-1916 in New York or New Jersey. His father was Isaac Shaw from Maryland. Isaac married a Janet Jack in New York City, he went there to work on the Holland Tunnel. I have had a hard time tracking them down. I had been told Isaac was born in Scotland, which really fouled me up, turns out he was born in MD and his family came from PA, prior to that. I have had the hardest time trying to track them down. (now that I am not looking in Scotland really helps)! Saw your post and thought I would inquire, do your Shaws come from PA or the Baltimore area of Maryland?? I wish I could help as far as your story of a John Shaw killed by Mr. Ellis goes, but have not gotton that far with my Shaws. 3. Hello Jim: My problem, lack of records!!! But I wonder if we are working on the same or related family. Isaac would have been born bet. 1880-1895 in Baltimore MD. or surrounding area. It is my understanding that my grandfather was his only son and that after the death of Isaac, Janet Jack (Shaw) remarried in Maryland. So I suppose my question would be who do you have as the sons and grandsons of Greenbury??? Any help would be appreciated. Sincerely, Peggie Shaw ----- Original Message ----- From: Jim Shaw<mailto:[email protected]> To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, May 12, 2005 2:07 PM Subject: RE: [SHAW] John SHAW. 1815-1850.
