Hello Alan, well there is no doubt in my mind that your Shaws, Maggie's and mine have a connection. I have been researching my Shaw line for more than six years now, and this is the first time I have run into these names running in a family line: Robert, David and Alexander. The names that I have been running into for years now is: William, John, Joel, Charles etc. I wished someone had the means to research this Robert, David and Alexander line. I do know that my Shaws are from Scotland, but I have no idea as to when they came to America. I assume that when they did, they came to Virginia, as that is where my Robert Shaw is born in 1800. I guess all we can do is continue to watch the [email protected] and see if something shows up. Bill
