JAMES M. ALCHA KATHERINE BAKER. THEN THERE WAS ELIZABETH, JOHN, JOAWPH, Mary ann, nancy, richard and sarah jane. i descend from james and a.k. baker. james and alcha only had two children. they were william thomas who m. rebecca hoskins and cynthia jane who m. thomas h. loudon. cynthia jane and thos. h. are my line. cynthia jane's parents were not happy with the marriage and disinherited her. my anc. james who m. alcha k. baker was born in edgar co., ill in i believe 1824. cynthia jane [shaw] loudon is buried at the blooming cem. in cornelius, oregon. alcha katherine [shaw] baker and her husband james are both buried at the ford cemeteery in milton-freewater, oregon. no stones. hope i didn't muddy the water with all this. i am from oregon and went to vestal grade school and then a two room school on or near the oregon coast. went to high school at parkrose when we moved back to portland. i graduated in 1957. gary in az.
