Thomas Shaw, born about 1847 in AL, married Rena (possibly Stafford), b about 1850 in GA. They had 6 children:James - born about 1882 in AL, Celia - born about 1884 in AL, Lillie - born about 1887 in AL, Emmitt - born about 1893 in AL, Thomas Jr - born about 1899 in AL and Clovy (hard to read) born in 1902 in GA. Thomas and Rena moved to Clay County, GA between 1899-1900. They were listed in the 1900 census for Clay County. Thomas Sr died between 1902-1910. By 1910 James, Celia and Lillie had moved out. (I have marriage and death information on Emmitt and Thomas,Jr - he was my great grandfather) James was listed in the 1920 census for Clay County. He was married to Lucy Woodard. They had a stillborn in 1919. The death certificate supplied Lucy's maiden name. No marriage record has been found. There was a Gene Shaw married to a Lucy Woodard in the Clay County marriage book, but not sure if James and Gene are the same person. There was a Eugene Shaw in the 1930 census for Clay County married to a Lucy. Their children's names were: Dudley and James. Is James, Gene and Eugene the same person? A Celia was listed in the Clay County marriage book - married to an Angus Stanley Jan 31, 1903. They were not listed in the 1910 census for Clay County, but were listed in the 1920 census for Clay County living with a Lovett Cornelous. They were listed as boarders. Could this Celia be Thomas and Rena's daughter? A Lillie was listed in the Clay County marriage book - married to a Lovett Cornelous Jan 5, 1919. A Lillie cornelous died Oct 8, 1919. According to the death certificate her parents were Thomas Shaw and Rena Stafford. Is this Lillie the daughter of Thomas and Rena?
