Their son, George Thomas Shaw, born June 10, 1881 Haynesville, Aroostook, ME, died Aug. 1, 1950 Portage Lake, Aroostook, Maine. Geo. married unknown first wife ??, probably around 1900?. Married second wife, Mildred Duffy Dec. 24, 1921 at Ashland, Aroostook, ME. She is the dau. of John B. Duffy born abt 1875 ? at Prince Edward Island, Canada and Mary J. Wright born abt 1880? at Richmond, Carleton, NB, Canada. George T Shaw and Mildred Duffy had five children that I know of: 1. Arnold E. Shaw b. Aug 27, 1922 (My wife's father) 2. John Shaw b. abt 1923/24 died in WWII in the Pacific. 3. George W. Shaw b. Nov. 30, 1925 died March 23, 2001, Eagle Lake, Aroostook, ME 4. Vivian Shaw b. abt 1928 5.
