I'm afraid I don't know anything further about James J. Assuming the children were listed in birth order, he would have been younger than Thomas Jefferson Shaw, so born after 1819, probably in, say, the mid 1820s. No spouse is listed for him. He must not have gone to Texas, because the ones who did are identified (Granville, Thomas J., John G.). These Shaws were in Bedford and Marshall counties, TN, and also in Hardeman County, TN.
