I have his father as Friedrich Egbert Weismann (married in Ipswich, Queensland, Australia 1859) I believe my gggrandfather's name was actually Weismann and was changed somewhere around the year 1900 to Wiseman. I have found certificates for his marriage here in Australia in both names and my gmother used to say she believed the name had been Weismann ... but we don't know the reasoning behind the name change. RALPH, Mary Ralph born abt 1710 in Kent, England married John Mackney 1733 in St Laurence, Kent, England ZIMPEL, Carl August Zimpel and Karlotta Kervietta Grabenten, a son Ernst Theodor Zimpel, born abt 1859 in Prussia married Bertha Redlin in Queensland, Australia in 1887 BALLHAUSE, Henry Ballhause, born abt 1836 in Prussia, emigrated to Australia (? not sure) naturalised 1893. Lori, All we have on the Shaws is a baptised date for Malcolm ( 1847) and a marriage date (1869). The marriage was in Australia, but no location for the baptisimal date. This information was passed on to my partner from someone else who did not give him sources and has since passed away, so we have no ideas ... we can find no entry into Australia for him or possible parents.
