They were married 31 JUL 1897 in The Parish Church, Ecclesfield, York. On the 1901 British Census, they are listed together with their daughter, Beatrice Dorothy Vernon Shaw (age 2), at 46 Doncaster Rd, Wath-upon-Dearne, Rotherham.
