John Shaw and two brothers came from Ireland and settled in NC ca.1750. John later moved to GA and mar. Carolyn Smith. Only one child survived an Indian raid - Joseph. He mar. Caledonia Barnett. They had four sons - John, William, Joseph and Callier (or, Calyer). Callier married Susan Barnett in Cass Co GA in 1843. Their children were - Ben F., James Haley, Susan Amanda (Mandy), Laura, Charles, Calledonia, Victoria, Francis (Fannie), and Joseph.
