During a visit to Godmanchester's cemetery in 1988 I found a tombstone that had a Shaw that was married to a Tanner. I apologize that I do not remember the full names, but I am hoping that the female Shaw that was there is related to my Essie Shaw that married a Fredrick Clayton Tanner. Their birth dates are fairly close to each others (late 1800's). I hope this helps. if someone else can visit Godmanchester's cemetery and share the full names on that tombstone, I would really appreciate it. Take care. I can't find a Shaw married to a Tanner in my info But I have tons of Tanners.. does Your Tanner Family happen to be out of Henrico County, Virginia.. I sure wish I could find more on my Shaw family but am at a stern Brick wall. my Robert Shaw was born in Guilford County North Carolina in abt 1754 and married an Elizabeth Hamilton . He died in Sumner County Tennessee in 1830 ----- Original Message ----- From: <gc-gateway@rootsweb.com> To: <SHAW-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, November 13, 2007 7:39 AM Subject: Re: [SHAW] Shaw surname in Lancashire UK > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Author: mich0834 > Surnames: Shaw, Tanner > Classification: cemetery > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.shaw/1019.1121.1/mb.ashx > > Message Board Post: > > Hi Belinda and Linda, > > I was active duty US Air Force and was stationed at RAF Molesworth.
