I started looking to the east as well. There was a Shaw shoe shop in Cheshire Co. NH in the town of Keene. There was a Charles W Shaw and a John Shaw that worked or owned the Shoe shop. I still have not found a connection. My aunt sent me some papers on a Thomas Shaw also from NH but I have not found a connection there either.
