Am trying to find more information on Daniel SHAW who was on the 1800 Tax list for Mercer Co., KY along with WILLIAM SHAW and THOMAS SHAW. This Daniel Shaw was wed twice...1st wife is unknown and 2nd wife was Elizabeth "Patsy" PIPES. Daniel's children by 1st wife: Zachary, Elizabeth, Wiley, Theophilus, Leban (or Seburn) and Simeon. Daniel's children by Elizabeth Pipes: James Perry Shaw (wed Elmira Crowdis) and Felicia Ann Shaw. I think the William Shaw (abt 1770 to July 1827) mentioned on the 1800 tax list was wed to Ann Porter HARBISON and Thomas Shaw (19 Sep 1775 to abt 1851) was wed to Catherine (Kitty) RIPPERDAN) Daniel Shaw wed Elizabeth Pipes 23 Feb 1814. I think Daniel lived in what could have been part of Boyle County, KY or Mercer Co. KY. Would like to find any information on his 1st wife. Would also like to know where Daniel lived prior to being on the 1800 Tax List in Kentucky. Anyone out there working on this family?
