Viola..... the dates are possibilities for my Shaws. Esther (?) born 1810 Ireland married Mr. Shaw and came to the US. By the 1840-50's they were in IL, Logan County and finally Macoupin County. They had more than one child but I only know a daughter, Lavinia who married Marion McGarvey in Morgan or Menard Co in 1865..In a later census she showed up in Lavinia and Marion's home with their 4 children and a Shaw nephew and niece.
