They came to Michigan in 1855 from Canada, probably New Brunswick. Andrew Shaw, b. 1844 may have been a brother or cousin, also from Canada. William married Rosanna Stone from New York. Their children are Susanna, Henry, Ella Jane, Mary, William, Earnest, Elmer and Glenn Otto. Susanna married Peter Cole and had Arthur, Edith and Emma. Ella Jane married Eli Crowl. Glenn was married after 1920 to someone named Pearl. Frederick married Betsy Stone, Rosanna's sister and they had two children but only Andrew M. lived past 10. Andrew's wife was Frances ? and their children were Helen and May. I am interested in finding William and Frederick's parents in Canada and any information on their children or grandchildren. According to Rosanna on the 1900 census only 2 of her children are living but on the 1894 State census all eight are living. I know when Elmer died but have no information on the other siblings or of their marriages and children. Any input on the Shaws, Stones (Rosanna and Betsy have a brother William) or Coles, etc would be appreciated. Thanks.
