I am interested in chatting with anyone who is researching the Shaws of Rochedale, Lancashire. My great-grandfather was George Shaw born 4.7.1851 in Rochedale. His father was James Shaw (brushmaker) and his mother was Jane Wilks. George emigrated to Australia. Does anyone have any information regarding the Lancashire side of his life?
