Regarding the Shaw/Stevens connection, I have Avice Shaw (daughter of James Shaw, b. 1757 Ireland, and Anna Jolly) married to Jacob White, Jr. His mother was Sarah Stevens, father Jacob White. James Shaw is buried on the Stevens Family Farm near Alexandria KY. Sarah Stevens father was John Stevens. There may be more Shaw/Stevens connections, and probably are, but this is all I have.
