Hi I have your John Shaw born 1796 in Cottingham married to Ann (I have Rogerson). I have more children than what you have and many on down, but I do not have the John D. Shaw born 1855 married to Carlie White in my file, but this is definitely my line. You may hear from others I have corresponded with who are also working on this line.. I only have Sarah & Ann as childrern of William born 1825. I have about 63 people with the surname Shaw in my file, plus oodles more connected with other surnames through marriage.
