Thanks for the info. I plan to go to library some this week and hope to have a chance to follow up on this. I did see that there was a Isaac Davidson in the area of Coosa co-1850, if I remember correctly. and wondered if this was father of Nancy. Will let you know if I make any progress that looks positive. Do you know if more of the children of Joseph Shaw and Nancy also went to TX. I haven't been able to locate any of them.
