Lyne - Where were your John D. Shaw and Margaret Stephens located--and any dates? Can't seem to find your first posting, but I am looking for a Shaw-Stephens (Stevens) connection in Kentucky. I believe I will just mention that I, like so many of you, have John, William and Sarah Shaws I would like to know about. They are: John Shaw, born 7 Dec 1796 at Cotingham, York county, England. Married Ann Rogers (b 6 Oct 1799 at sutton) on Nov. 25, 1818 in England Their children included: John Shaw, born 19 July 1819 in England, died William shaw, born 23 Oct 1825, England, died 7 Nov 1903--my great grandfather Sarah Shaw , born 12 Feb 1831 in St. Andrews, Canada John D. Shaw, born in Canada 20 March 1855, died near Hazel, SD 11 March 1894. Married Carile White 1 May 1886. This John was my grandfather. If anyone finds a connection here, I surely would like to know about it. Ruth Kern
