Hi all, I'm also looking for a John J. Shaw. On my GGGrandmother's (Lena (Shaw) Hernandez) mc she gave the names John and Mary Shaw as her parents. I have to take that with a grain of salt though because on her dc her parents were listed as Humphrey and Julia (Nagle) Shaw, both listed as being from Ireland. Lena's place of birth is listed Buffalo, NY abt. 1860. She had 5 children, among them were twin boys, John Joseph and Emanuel Sebastian. It is apparant with her other children that she named them after other members of the family, so I'm wondering if there is a John Joseph Shaw that was possibly Lena's brother.
