    3. What a pleasure to hear from you. You are the first link I have found to my Father's family. We will have to check further to find out whether the same William really had two daughters AND two sons. I only knew of my grandfather and his brother William. According to my information, William (born 1825) married Agnes Cameron, a native of Scotland, 28 Feb 1849 at Thomas" Grve (?) Canada. William and Agnes had both come to Canada with their parents in childhood. Agnes died in Watertown, NY in 1866. William died 7 Nov 1903. Our Great Uncle Will was William Henry Shaw, born July 2, 1860. According to a bio I found, He homesteaded in South Dakota, as did my grandfather. Will married Lulu Dealing of New York in 1892. Their children were Eva Grace and Robert Clayton. William died around 1940. Yes, according to my records John and Ann had 13 children. When my Father died in 1947 he left the following information: John Shaw born Dec. 7 1796 at Cotingham, York County, England John Shaw and Ann Rogers (could have been an "o and n" that we missed) married Nov. 25, 1818 in England Ann Rogers born Oct. 6, 1799 at sutton, York County, England Their children: John Shaw, born July 19, 1819 in England James Shaw - Jan. 12, 1821 - England Betsy Shaw - Sept. 1, 1822 - England Richard Shaw - Feb. 19, 1824 - England William Shaw - Oct. 23, 1825 - England, died Nov. 7, 1903 (my great grandfather) Ann Shaw - July 27, 1827 Henry Shaw - Feb. 28, 1829 Sarah Shaw - Feb. 12, 1831, St. Andrews, Canada Jane Shaw - Jan. 13, 1833 Stephan Shaw - Sept. 16, 1834 Maria Shaw - april 5, 1836 Rebecca Shaw - Dec. 18, 1837 George Shaw - April 30, 1840 Does all or most of this information fit with what you have? I very much look forward to sharing more on this large family.
