    3. as far as i know the name Evan was unique to the shaws from the menteith branch of the family of course im sure there ar exceptions.thats why i alway perk up when i hear the name Evan... Evan and Milly had 2 sons - Anguish (my ggrandfather) and William (who died before he was 2). Anguish married Permelia Callahan. I believe the Anguish Shaw from Scotland and my Evan may have been brothers. Looking forward to hearing from you.
