My Maine SHAW is Otis SHAW, born about 1785. He married Lydia CARVER in 1807 in Vinalhaven, Hancock County (now Knox County). Childred were: Hannah C., born 6 Sept. 1808 Jenny, born 15 July 1810 John, born 14 Sept. 1812 Mary, born 20 Nov. 1814 William V., born 21 April 1817 Abigail L., born 30 Oct. 1819 Susan V., born 24 May 1822 Margaret L., born 24 Aug. 1824 Rebecca L., born 4 June 1828 Lydia died in 1829 and Otis SHAW married Nancy MARCHANT.
