Hi, Tom: My Evan Shaw was born about 1810 in VA and married 3 times - his second wife was Milly Shaw - a niece and daughter of Anguish Shaw. Evan and Milly had 2 sons - Anguish (my ggrandfather) and William (who died before he was 2). Anguish married Permelia Callahan. I believe the Anguish Shaw from Scotland and my Evan may have been brothers. Looking forward to hearing from you. Tommy, Mike, George, etc Does any of you have photos of those scotish Shaws. Mine (Duncan) was born in London 1816 but the family is supposed to be originated in Inverness. Duncan had a sister (Mary Ann) who spent her live in London, and a brother (John) who went Spain with him. Some of the sons of Mary Ann went also Spain with their ucle Duncan. Duncan was Civil and Minig engineer and enter the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. I think the name of Duncan's father was John. If any of you can send me a photo I could recognise familiar faces.
