Donna: I have a Zacharia Shaw who served in the American Revolutionary War and lived in Wake Co., NC. He moved to Wake from Virginia at the age of two years. There is also a Simpson Shaw from NC. I don't know Simpson's connection with Zacharia except in his RW's pension application he indicated he had known Zacharia for over 40 years. This family (Zach and Simp later moved to Gibson Co., TN. Is there a connection?
