I do not know where my SHAW ancestors came from and I don't really care I would just like to find them so I can put that information into my genealogy file. I have been searching for quite some time. My GG Grandfather was Angeloah SHAW according to census records he would have been born in NY in about 1818. He married Mary Delilah Sapney in Angelica Allegany County NY in abt 1846. They moved to Cattaraugus County NY soon after they married. In the 1854-1855 period they moved to Jo Daviess Co. IL then to Trempealeau County Wisconsin and later to Nebraska. I have info on Angeloah from the 1850 census to the time lhe died. I would like to find who were his parents and where did he and they come from? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
