Hello, it's me again... My other A Shaw is Amos Newton Shaw, the grandson of Amos Shaw and Sarah Maxey. His parents were John "Jack" Newton Shaw and Rebecca Anne Jackson. Amos was born in GA, probably Walker Co. He was married to Nannie W.some time before 1880. We have found mention that Amos and Nannie had 15 children, so far, we have found 8 of them. These children are: Charley F. Shaw b 5 Dec 1880 d 28 Feb 1898 Birdie E. Shaw b 27 May 1884 d 17 Aug 1889 Maurice N. Shaw b 1 Jul 1886 d 29 Apr 1892 Clora Shaw b 9 Jan 1889 d 22 Jan 1889 Mamie A. Shaw b 28 Sep 1890 d 19 May 1904 Avon A. Shaw b 4 Feb 1893 d 19 Aug 1897 Fannie Shaw we have no dates for Fannie, her headstone was almost unreadable. All these children, as well as Amos and Nannie are buried in New Liberty Cemetery, Faulkner Co, AR Amos died 22 Feb 1906, and Nannie died 20 Aug 1926. If anyone has a connection with this family, I have pictures of the headstones of everyone I listed here. I'm still looking for more info on this family, as well as the other 7 children.
