Jen and Marci, St.John Irvine,s book abt. George Bernard SHAW was published by William Morrow & Company, New York, 1956. He and Charlotte Frances Payne-Townshend had no children, but he had 2 sisters Lucy (born 1853) and Agnes (born 1855) so there must be more SHAWS in that line somewhere. GBS was born July 26, 1856 in Dublin, married Charlotte in 1898, and he died Nov. 2, 1950.One of GBS's ancestors was a CARR, an ancestor of mine, also. Charlotte's ancestors were GURLY.
