Amos father John's parents: James Shaw b 13 Apr 1718 Dorcester Co, MD d 1789 Prince Georges Co, MD Margaret Thompson b 26 sep 1722, daughter of James Thompson and Anne Perry . James was born 16 May 1747 in Glasgow, Scotland. His father was Ebenezer Thompson, also born in Scotland. The children of James and Margaret: Sarah b 1753 Martha b 1755 Jane b 1757 William b 1759 Nancy b 1761 John b 1763 James Shaw's parents: James William b 1688 Great Britain Margaret Strong b 1692 Prince Georges Co, MD Their children: James b 1718 Christopher b abt 1720 William b abt 1722 d 1780 I have John Shaw's Rev. war info, pension #, etc. I found a copy of the letter he wrote regarding the land lottery, but the copy machines were already closed, and I didn't get to make a copy.
