Hi, Are you sure about that? My Dudley line from England almost all had middle names. My Great grandfather and all of his siblings had middle names. They were all born in England in the 1870's - 1880's . I haven't found any yet for the generations before that thought. But then again I haven't found much of anything at all on the other generations yet. I know that my Dudley's weren't royalty, they were just common people.
