Hey Frank! My John turned up in Maryland! His middle name was the only clue. Since I was looking for Warren Shaw's parents, John and Persis, it was a big help. And it turned out that John Warren Shaw's lifelong friend, named John Warren, helped him with his pension records. Didn't I see somewhere a list of Angeloah's siblings? Maybe there is a clue there? The only thing I can think of is that you might start searching the Rootsweb archives of other counties in New York, or counties "back east" from there.
