First of all Samuel Jr. who married Thankful Garey in 1754 was Abrahams father, not his son. He also had a brother by the name of Samuel born Aug 7th 1757 in York, brother William born Oct. 17th, 1755. He (now i'm talking about Abraham, not his father) also had twin sisters by the names of Abigal, and Martha born Oct. 20th 1759 in York, Me. One more sister, Agnes, born Way 21st 1766, also in York. Abraham, and his wife Mary had ten children. John,Samuel, Abraham,Sumner, Joseph, Miriam, Polly, Betsey, Mercy, and Joannah. Have more info if needed. I guess I have everything messed up. I was given some papers and they have Abraham Shaw b.1763 in York married Mary? children Marion,John,Mary, Samuel,Betsey, Abraham,Summer,Mercy,Joseph and Joanna. 2nd Gen. Samuel b. 1 June 1791 m. Thankful? children Mercy,Agnes, Thankful,Samuel,Orin,Andrew,Mary, Albian. Some of our dates seem to be different too. So I probably have 2 families mixed up. Thanks very much for pointing that out to me. I would love to have whatever information you have to share.
