Looking for information on an Elizabeth SHAW, b. abt 1869. Sometimes went by Lydia or Lida. I know it's pitiful...but this is pretty much all the information I have....and it has taken 10 years to collect this much! Probably any family that she had on the east coast (she passed through Oneida, NY in 1885/1886) never knew her as Lydia or Lida. Those seem to be names she 'adopted' once she left the east and ended up in Kansas. It certainly appears she never had any communication with her birth family again once she left New York. Anyone have an Elizabeth SHAW, born in the right time frame, who just disappeared from the radar? I am clutching at straws here people. I KNOW that someone somewhere has the information I seek. Anne
