Hi List, My 4 x great grandfather was Mr. SHAW of Crow Park Co Dublin. His son was William SHAW a Coachbuilder at Dublin. This William was married May 1778 at St James, Dublin to Jane NORMAN of Lagore Co Meath. Jane remarried in 1885/8 to Henry CAMPBELL so William must have died before then. William is reputed to be an Army Officer. He had two sons. Richard born 1779 and William b 1780. Richard SHAW born 1779 was a Capt in 27th Enniskillen Reg. and married Eliza STANLEY. He had 2 sons William Elliot SHAW, vicar, who m Jane ? and had 3 sons John Stanley SHAW, George SHAW, Robert Clifford SHAW (no further details known) and 2 daus. Elizabeth Stanley SHAW m Mr Perdue, Jane Anna Abbot SHAW who married in 1871 to Robert TIVY of Galway and had 11 children. William SHAW born 1780 married and had a dau Jane who married Mr FLETCHER and had Henry FLETCHER, Isabella FLETCHER and Fanny FLETCHER. (no further details known). William then remarried 1816 in Edinburgh Scotland to Elizabeth BROWN. William died in 1833 after having 6 children. Janet SHAW b 1818 - d 1902 spinster William George SHAW b 1819 - d 1839. Mercantile Marine Service Robert Eward SHAW b 1823 - d 1864 childless Susan SHAW b 1820 - d 1822 Elizabeth SHAW b 1825 - 1827 Richard Norman SHAW architect .b 1831 - d 1912 Elizabeth and her 4 surviving children came to London where R N SHAW was articled to an architect.
