More Quaker Shaws my line in Pennsylvania. Andrew Shaw (Sarah Greenland)1797-1856 of Cassville, Hundingdon Co. and later of Fulton(then Bedford) Co. His house still stands and the family records are complete from then to now. More tenuous, my late father list his father as John(TemperanceWright) b.1765 and his father Samuel Shaw 1735-1785. Bancroft, Caples,Greenland,Holland,Shaw,Willitt,Woodcock. We know or suppose most of these families were Friends. Terence Shaw
