D. Shaw, I have no idea where Jabez Shaw came from. He suddenly appears in Tamaqua when he married Mary Noden. I don't think your Jabez and mine are the same, however, as my Jabez joined the Army in Illinois in 1864. However, I'm wondering if perhaps they are related.
